Playing without an account
You don't need an account. Your chips, daily-claim day, table name and settings are kept only in this browser (its local storage). Nothing about your play is sent to us.
If you create an account (optional)
An account only exists so your chips sync across your browsers and devices. It stores, on Carina Dataworks servers (Cloudflare Workers and a Cloudflare D1 database):
- Your username, used to sign in and shown as your name at the tables. We don't ask for or collect an email address.
- Your password as a salted, one-way hash (PBKDF2-SHA256). We can't read it, and it's never stored or logged in plain text.
- Your game save: chip balance, the day you last claimed daily chips, and your table name.
- Sign-in sessions: a random token kept on your device; we store only its hash. Sessions end after 30 days, when you log out, or when you delete your account.
- Short-lived, hashed rate-limit counters (keyed to your IP address or username) that block password guessing. They're cleared within a day.
What we don't do
- No payment info. Play chips only: there's nothing to buy, and chips have no cash value.
- No tracking, ads, analytics profiles or cookies on this site.
- No email collected, so we never send you email. That also means there's no password reset: if you forget your password, make a new account.
- We never sell or share your data.
Playing together
Multiplayer tables connect browsers directly (WebRTC). The public PeerJS service helps them find each other using the room code; game moves go between the players' browsers. Because the connection is direct, players at the same table can see each other's IP addresses.
Deleting your data
Open ★ Account in the game, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. Your username, password hash, sessions and cloud save are removed right away. The chips in your browser stay there; clear the site's data in your browser to remove them too.
